In recent years, several buses have been ignited viciously in some domestic major cities, and all the accidents happened suddenly and developed rapidly. Then the shaped charge was put forward by our research group as a countermeasure for the ignited bus to exploring and enlarging the escape routes for passengers and driver. However, accompanied with detonation products of the shaped jet, there are several hazardous factors which may bring some secondary damages to drivers and passengers. In order to understand the overpressure and high temperature of the detonation products, the numerical model was established to simulate the behavior of the shaped charge jet. Then based on the physical resistance of human body to reveal and evaluate the potential dangerous for the occupants. Through a series of comparative analysis, a linear shaped charge jet was given out which is suitable for the exploring and enlarging the escape routes without secondary injuries to near-field passengers. So results of this paper can promote the application of the shaped charge jet for ignited buses.
