Piston group is one of the main factors that influence the performance of diesel engine. Piston in diesel engine belongs to the high-speed operation of the components and working environment badly, so in the design of the piston, in addition to considering the power, economy and emissions of, still need to heating analysis, force, to achieve reliability requirements.In the process of converting the combustion heat energy into mechanical energy, the piston plays an important role, so the thermal deformation and stress caused by the thermal load is one of the main causes of the failure of the piston. Therefore, the structural design of the piston thermal load analysis and strength analysis in the piston design is very important. The structure design of diesel emissions by four in this paper, the development of a new machine in the piston, and the thermal load analysis and strength analysis, the main contents are as follows:(1) According to a turbocharged diesel engine type design entry and working conditions of the piston, piston structure design, and according to determine the size of a piston using UG software established piston, piston pin, the connecting rod head entity three-dimensional finite element calculation model, calculation of efficient frontier surface thermal boundary conditions using AVL BOOST software to model the heat of combustion, in the ABAQUS finite element analysis software of the piston temperature field calculation.(2)On the piston temperature field theory as the basis, give full consideration to the heat load theory and heat transfer theory, use of hardness plug method for the measurement of piston temperature field of finite element analysis of piston temperature field calculation results were experimentally verified, and the piston temperature field test to obtain piston surface of the key position of the temperature value and temperature test values obtained with the finite element calculation of the temperature value is basically the same.(3)The strength of the piston is analyzed by using the ABAQUS software, and completed the analysis of piston fatigue. Calculate the piston thermal stress and mechanical stress force and thermal mechanical coupling stress calculation of the piston in the heat should force and thermal mechanical coupling stress deformation obtained under different working conditions of the piston stress value and deformation value and dangerous position and play a guiding role for the design of the piston. According to the results of the analysis, high temperature parts of piston combustion chamber and a top do anodic oxidation processing, improve piston wear and has heat insulation effect, on the piston pin seat inner stress concentration, through optimizing the piston pin seat shaped line for improving stress concentration.
