With the rapid development of real estate business since 2003, our country's steel production is experiencing a rapid development period accordingly. Electromagnetic crane is a device with iron core inside, using current to make it like a magnet with magnetic properties, which is widely used in metallurgy, mining, machinery, transportation and other industries, and often used to hoist the magnetic materials such as steel or used as an electromagnetic manipulator. At present, the working mode of domestic electromagnetic crane is simple, and its safety coefficient is not high. Although the research on electromagnetic crane in our country started early, most of them theoretically expound the working principle of electromagnetic crane. However, there are few equipment developed to meet the needs of work performance, operating comfort, automation, work safety and reliability, monitoring capabilities, and so on.In view of the demand of multiple working mode of electromagnetic crane, and reference its existing control system, mechanical structure and steel hanging transport working process, this article puts forward the overall design scheme of power supply control system for electromagnetic crane that can realize multi working mode,such as constant magnetism mode, strong magnetism mode, adjustable flux mode and the mode of laying down iron plate one by one, including main circuit design, control system hardware design, software design and PC control software design. At the same time, analyze the multiple working modes of the implementation scheme, and put forward using wavelet transform to realize the emphasis and difficulty of this design:the mode of laying down iron plate one by one.The main circuit adopts three-phase positive bridge parallel with, and the load characteristic of the circuit is emotional resistance with maximum inductance value. Three-phase positive bridge is used to output DC voltage or DC current to generate electromagnetic force, thus completing the suction process; three-phase anti bridge output reverse current is used to counteract the effect of residual magnetism, thus completing the unloading process. The hardware design is based on TMS320F28335 as the core component, with the peripheral circuit constitute communication module, memory module, display module, I/O module, AD sampling module, zero-detection module to complete the function of each mode; The design of software is based on CCS5.5 program compile software as a platform, combined with TMS320F28335 rich resources, using the object-oriented C++ language, adopting the modular programming method to achieve multiple working mode of the program. PC control software design is based on Qt as a platform to monitor and control for the power-control system of electromagnetic crane.Finally, through debugging and optimization of the prototype, developed power supply control system and the PC control program with multiple working mode.Compared with the traditional electromagnetic crane power supply system, this system is more secure, reliable, more powerful, more automatic, which has a certain engineering significance.
