Most reinforced concrete members work with cracks. The concrete crack when the accumulation of internal force and temperature difference or shrinkage stress exceeds its tensile strength. Specifically, temperature affects the RC Industry Factory Building with over-length Span in an indispensable way.The study is based on the engineering background of one 110m-long industrial factory building in the southern of China. The building is a reinforced concrete frame structure with multi layers and spans. First of all, obtain the temperature of the relevant information about the location of the project in 15 years and study the temperature effect and impact under various temperature conditions to determine coverage of the effect and its distribution rule. Secondly, the study presented a buckling equation of a one-level column and emphasized on the effective length factor of the column considering both lateral deformation and concrete contraction. Further, the factor connected to this factory building is calculated and analyzed. Conclusions:Under integrated temperature differences, overall deformations of the structure increase along with rising of heighten and temperature effect has different influence in different apace members.Stress in the longitudinal frame beams and columns are related to the constraint conditions of the adjacent members (transverse frame beams). The bigger the section dimension of the transverse frame beams, the stronger the constraint is, the stress in the longitudinal frame beams on the same layer and adjacent upper layer and stress in the column below transverse frame beam either. When the warming or cooling are different between the internal and exterior members, deformation incompatibility bring about different vertical deformation in side span frame beams, leading to large bending moment in the beams. When buckling strength of one-level column in concrete factory building is studied, harm to effective length of the column with free upper end cannot be ignored, which is caused by temperature-lateral deformation and concrete contraction.
