As one of the most important water release structures, in practical engineering process, spillway is always restricted by local terrain, geology et al, so if the spillway is accordingly reversed by an angle on the plane, we can take full advantage of terrain and save quantities. The study on "635" reservoir spillway,and for curve circumfluence problem occurs, etc.Using a combined methods of model test and numerical simulation.We fixed up suitable dimension assistant equipment like water diversion piers, roughness section, and so on,to reach the target of dissipating energy and diverting water.Finally, the following conclusions.(1) It is an ideal measure of curved spillway installing roughness section sloving curve circulation,which could not only reduce the flow velocity of roughness section areas, but also divert water flow to the concave bank because of roughness section layout angle, so as to decrease the difference between the two sides level.(2) Continuous distance arranging a plurality of roughness section on carved Spillway,and diversion of water flow energy dissipation effect is better than a single roughness section layout pattern.For linear transition section curved spillway,rational arrangement of roughness section in curve segment,to prevent water of high water level upstream crossing the wall and other phenomena.(3) In the physical modelling experiment, made experimental studies respectively on the designing scheme of 3 different roughness section breadths and 4 layout angles, and the experiment results showed that the designing scheme of 635 spillway roughness section breadth(b=2.50 m) is superior to the that of the b= 1.33 m breadth, and the ?=30°layout angel inferior to ?=11.785°~24° layout form. Meanwhile, the experiment also show that, after installing roughness section, the water flow velocity ruction effect of the concave bank is better.(4) According to roughness section design layout angle ?,design width b and design irregularities coast height h1, h2, there are 135 kinds of combinations of design.Multi-curved section roughness section energy dissipation spillway diversion effect were discussed.the relation between roughness width b and spillway width B can be showed by the formula of b=1/39B~ 1/21B; roughness height h1 is equal to 1/3.4h ~ 1/2.17 h,roughness height h2 is equal to 1/3.2h ~ 1/6.7h(h is the average water depth of the concave bank).Energy dissipation and river diversion effect is significant to curved spillway roughness section.
