The Contrast Research Of West Garden's Space And Time In Different Historical Periods

Landscape art is a bright pearl in Chinese traditional culture. As a history book,garden is the concentrated expression of West Sichuan region economy, culture,architecture, and political. And as a branch of Chinese classical gardens, it adhering to the tradition of natural, simple, elegant, let the natural landscape into the garden skillfully, with particular emphasis on the form of natural landscape, pursue the harmony and unity between human beings and nature. Therefore, garden style is more multiple, forming unique characteristics. However, the garden is not easy to be preserved, after thousands of years of change, mostly lost and abandoned. Research on Chinese classical gardens is based on three types of landscape, research on local garden is few. West shu garden in the history of landscape architecture in China occupies an important position, could not be shaken. Whether it is really, or just recorded in the historical data, both of them are the valuable wealth of the study garden. The study of West shu garden can not only enrich the research system of classical garden and also provide some inspiration for inheriting of west Shu culture.Therefore, it has important historical and practical significance to research the West shu garden.The research of this article include this 3 points.1,The building art of West shu gardenThis paper through the information search, and the literature is inductive and deductive reasoning, and on-site investigation, combining, from West shu garden of the historical background, the contrast research, direction of modern garden construction to explain the gist of the article content. First, the development background of West shu garden is sorted out; and access to relevant literature,combined with examples, on the base of time, the landscape characteristics of West shu garden in each period are expounded in this paper, including rocks, water and plant, and cultural connotation, and make a comparative study. Finally from the perspective of the construction of modern West shu garden, getting inspiration from the historical relics protection and the construction of the direction, hope to provide help to the construction of West shu garden in the future, providing reference for themodern garden landscape construction.2,the contrastive research of West shu garden in different eras.Contrasting the characteristic of West shu garden in different age,we found that:it is gradually developing and evolving in the land of Chengdu, one classical garden which deeply rooted in the soil of history culture in the West Sichuan, have the peculiar flavor of the West Sichuan. In the period of ancient Shu, the rudiment of the garden has appeared, Yangzishantutai in the period of the Western Zhou Dynasty,princess Tomb in Wudang mountain, hunting garden building by the king of Kaiming.To the Qing and Han Dynasty, with the capital established, economy developed, types and functions of the garden are enriched, monomer garden, the landlord manor, and at the some time, with the incoming seeds of indigenous Taoism and foreign Buddhism,temple garden has emerged. During the period of Tang and Five Dynasties, economy and culture have great development, and the development of West shu garden stride into a flourishing period, various types of gardens are increasingly sophisticated, and scholars involved in gardening, or because of literati residence and commemoration of celebrity build memorial garden at the site, it increased garden culture artistic conception, and not just stay in the building, Du Fu thatched cottage is a typical representative. The men of literature and writing is not in the minority, so literati building garden is the most typical mode for West shu garden. In the end of the Song and start of Qing Dynasty, the war constantly, flames of war, the development of landscape caused great impact, many gardens in this period was destroyed. A lot of garden were destroyed, can be described as shocking.3,Inspiration of classic garden to modern garden.In the Qing Dynasty, gardens continue to developing. People rebuild and developed destroyed gardens. Since entering the new era of development stage, West shu garden began to obtain all features both of the gardens style, existent historic garden series still retains from the gardens of the Tang and Song Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, although mostly have the traces of repair from different historical stages, inheriting is most important. Chinese classical gardens of the royal gardens, private gardens and Religious Garden three types are reflected in West shu garden, but the most of them are celebrity Memorial Garden. The biggest character of West shu garden is in that temple worship garden, which is not available in other landscape types. Cults emergence from the ancient shu period and under the influence of primitive witchcraft, ritual activities, through integration with the religion, and gradually evolved into the celebrity memorial garden of cults garden.The research inthe West shu classical garden is great help to the building of modern garden.
