The precast shear walls, which are widely used in high-rise buildings, will have an accelerated process along with the constantly promotion of housing industrialization. While traditional precast shear walls are hardly extended because of their poor ductility and joining technology. To improve the seismic performance of precast shear walls, this article constructed a kind of precast shear wall structure with energy dissipation devices, which is formed by setting vertical seams on wall limbs of a cast-in-place shear wall structure, and the vertical seams are connected by hysteretic dampers. The main research contents are as follows:(1) The hysteretic damper with continuous circle openings is constructed based on the hysteretic damper with single circle opening, the circle opening size of which is determined by comparison. And its performance and position are decided by finite element analysis. In calculation of large scale structures, the hysteretic damper is simulated by link element and the parameters of which are determined by finite element analysis. A set of shear wall models is designed to verify the reliability and accuracy of the link element.(2) A single shear wall with energy dissipation devices which is formed by an 18-layer shear wall model with vertical seams bottom-to-up connected by hysteretic dampers based on a practical engineering is designed. Seismic performance analysis of this structure and the shear wall structure cast-in-place is conducted and comparative study on main performance indexes, such.as displacement, base shear and structure damage, is conducted. The results show that the single shear wall with energy dissipation devices has an considerable seismic resistance effect.(3) Shear wall structure with vertical seams has been set up by setting bottom-to-up vertical seams on wall limbs on a practical cast-in-place shear wall structure, and the original design of which has not been changed. Precast shear wall structure with energy dissipation devices is constructed by connecting the vertical seams. And the finite element models of shear wall structure cast-in-place, shear wall structure with vertical seams and precast shear wall structure with dissipation devices are created. Seismic performance analysis is conducted on the three models, and comparative study on main performance indexes, such.as displacement, base shear and hysteretic curve of hysteretic damper, is conducted. The results indicate that precast shear wall structure with energy dissipation devices can control the response in seismic area in some degree.
