Optical theodolite on the ship can establish a kind of ship measuring equipment. But when the measuring ship performs measurement task, the measuring equipment would swing due to the influence from wind, wave and waft. The angel measurement is also influenced and the target tracking error is influenced either. The influence must be removed in the further processing.According to the real requirements and engineering practice, a new measurement error model based on medium and small vessel is presented. And the method for wave error correction is also deduced. The method can eliminate the influence from wind; wave and waft effectively. Referring to the technological process of landed-based optical theodolite, the technological process and software for optical theodolite on the ship are designed. The technological process is suitable for the measurement of optical theodolite on the ship.Based on the simulation of the ship wave data, the platform of six degrees can simulate the situation of the ship. The track of the target is simulated by the triaxial platform. Refering to the arrangement of the optical theodolite in real aircraft test, a simulation test system is designed. Also the method is tested and verified.
