In recent years, China's construction industry is in a stage of vigorous development with the rapidly progress of economy and the sweeping of urbanization. Well, the extensive construction management model also bring lots of issues, such as low productivity, severely waste and low level of informatization and so on. At the same time, people need a better ecological environment, and our country committed to a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, the slogan of green building and green construction has bring a big challenge to the construction industry. The comes out of BIM technology is in line of this requirement, The emerging technology of Building Information Modeling has brought increasing improvements and commanded much attention around construction industry,moreover, technology of BIM is showing its power gradually.Currently, the Building Information Modeling technology is wildly applied in construction engineering and the efficiency of engineering construction has been greatly improved for BIM's strong project management capabilities and visualization. To promote the use of BIM technology in engineering construction, this paper take one frame shear wall structure for example, combined the basic theory of BIM and with the help of Autodesk Revit2015, those models are built, such as the whole flame structure, the sample room model and the construction site model etc. This paper studied some preliminary application of BIM in Engineering Construction exploratorily with the basis of some processing and analysis of the three-dimensional model of that frame shear wall structure. At the same time, fourdimensional construction schedule model are built of that frame shear wall structure with the basis of three-dimensional model in use of Navisworks Manage, the management process of that four- dimensional frame shear wall project schedule is studied with simulate the building construction process. An exploratory study was made on the application of BIM technology to construction in this thesis, hope to provide a reference for similar engineering. The following several aspects has been researched emphatically in this thesis.(1) The structure model, partial pipe model, sample room model and venue decoration model are built of Revit.(2) Five application of BIM technology during the construction was conducted through the analysis and handle of three-dimensional models of BIM,(3) Non-standard layer's four- dimensional construction schedule model are built of that frame shear wall structure with Autodesk Navisworks Manage, and four- dimensional construction schedule process is researched and simulated on the basis of models.
