The ship sail with a high speed In the harsh sea conditions, when the bow go into the water and out the water again. Bow structure vulnerable to severe hydrodynamic slamming loads. According to the bow position slamming occurrence is different, which can be divided into bottom slamming and flare slamming. Serious slamming will pose a threat to the safety of local structure, at the same time, slamming will cause vibration of the hull girder, threaten the overall structure safety. It has a theoretical significance and engineering value to study ship slamming.This paper focuses on the local slamming problem research. Because of the complexity of ship bow three-dimensional shape, reasonable prediction of Slamming Loads is difficult. This paper simplifies the ship slamming problem, aiming at the cylinder structure typical conducting analysis into the water, using experimental and numerical simulation method to study the load corresponding.This study adopts the viscous fluid mechanics software Fluent to carry out the slamming load numerical work, according to the 30 degree wedge and cylinder slamming two problems, to carry out the numerical simulation work, by comparing the prediction results with the experimental data published in open literature are in good agreement with the numerical simulation method, verified the rationality and accuracyAiming at the problem of cylinder slamming, carried out the test on model, welding production of the aluminum cylinder structure, design and implement a slamming model test mechanism, slamming acceleration structure, strain and pressure response test. Then, using the CFD numerical method based on Fluent software, carried out the analysis work slamming load numerical forecast into water acceleration and slamming pressure load and model experiment results.CFD numerical simulation method is proposed in this paper, which has good application prospect and can be applied to more complex two and three-dimensional structure of slamming load problems, provide technical support for further study on the bow can be specific local structural slamming load problem.
