With the continuous expansion of the grid, the pow er system structure is becoming more complicated, leading to more and more uncertainty of the system. Especially, the massive integration of w ind pow er and other renewable energy to the pow er system brings more challenges. In this paper, by taking use of DSR(dynamic security region) and risk assessment theory, some researches w ere done on the operation risk assessment of power system w ith large scale w ind farm integration. The main w orks in this article include the follow ing aspects:(1) A brief overview of related theories of w ind pow er risk assessment and the basic construction method of DSR boundary w ere made;(2) Based on the goodness of approximation and the total partial regression sum of squares theory, an advanced construction method of DSR boundary w as proposed, w hich can be used to improve the accuracy, rationality and brevity of dynamic security region, so that it could do some favour to the analysis and application of risk index.(3) The risk index calculation and integrated analysis method of large-scale w ind pow er integration system was proposed based on dynamic security region, w hich was able to give quantitative indicators of the system day-ahead scheduling plan, and analyze the high risk time, the serious fault element and vulnerability information of the system. The efficiency and practicality of theories mentioned herein were verified by standard numerical examples, w hich show ed that the w orks done in this paper could provide references for the operators' scheduling decisions.
