It is necessary for an ideal urban living environment to have a certain area of green space to guarantee the environmental quality.However,with the accelerating urbanization and the increasing urban population,a growing number of buildings and streets replace natural land and plants.The contradiction between urban building land and the living environment is increasingly obvious,which led to a series of problems in urban ecological environment.It is increasingly challenging for a city to develop ecological vegetation on the ground.The question that how we make full use of the limited urban space resources makes us create a new construction thought——three-dimensional space design,namely,to develop greening belt on the roof space and facades of the buildings.Therefore,the roof landscape construction of urban architectures has become the inevitable trend of the development of modern cities.By means of literature research,comparison research,case analysis and summarization,this paper studies and makes analysis of roof landscape of urban architectures.First,from urban ecological environment problems,it summarizes the present development status of roof garden in other countries,stressing that roof greening has attracted more and more attention worldwide,and elaborates on the functionality and design methods of roof landscape;then it takes the roof landscape of Shijiazhuang White Commercial Plaza as an example to make specific analysis and makes conceptual design;at last it analyzes the development of urban roof landscape,and the artistic,humane and scientific planning has drawn widespread attention.The roof landscape planning will be the inevitable trend of the sustainable development of the country in the future.
