Compaction degree is one of the key indicators of the evaluation of the quality of highway construction.Sufficient and effective compaction will let the roadbed and each layer of the pavement structure have sufficient stability,durability,flatness and density.After reaching a high density,the subsidence can be virtually eliminated during the using of highway.Meanwhile,the carrying capacity,water impermeability and service life can be improved.The vibrating compaction process is the process of interacting between vibratory rollers and pressed materials.The vibration parameters which can help the materials obtain enough compactness depend on the character of asphalt mixture and the environment condition of construction site.Meanwhile,the compaction effect of asphalt mixture depends on the operating parameters of vibratory rollers such as speed,vibrating frequency,amplitude,exciting force and so on.It is necessary to establish a dynamic model which is close to the actual working conditions as much as possible and easy to make theoretical analysis in order to research the dynamic response of vibratory rollers and asphalt mixture under the exciting force,study the influence of the changing vibration parameters on the compaction effect of asphalt pavement,and explore the change of the parameters of asphalt mixture during the operating process.In this paper,the study subject is the vibrating compaction process of asphalt pavement.Through analyzing the mechanization of the vibrating compaction,building the dynamic model of the vibrating compaction process,disposing the data of vibration acceleration which are gathered from the construction site and conducting the simulation analysis of the vibrating compaction system,this paper achieves the following conclusions and achievements:⑴It analyzes the mechanization of the vibrating compaction,establishes the dynamic model of the vibrating compaction process,builds the kinetic equation and analyzes the working conditions including contacting the ground and leaving the ground from the theoretical point of view;⑵It filters the signals of vibration acceleration which are gathered from the construction site of Jiqi Highway by acceleration acquisition instrument,sifts the data of vibration acceleration and establish the relationship between the compaction degree of asphalt pavement and the vibration acceleration of vibratory rollers;⑶It uses the MATLAB software to analyze the dynamic model of the vibrating compaction system and derives the dynamic response law of the vibration acceleration of vibratory rollers along with the change of the rigidity and damping of asphalt pavement;⑷It uses the ADAMS software to conduct the simulation analysis of the vibrating compaction system,verifies the rationality of the built vibrating compaction system and analyzes the working condition of leaving the ground;⑸Through the comparative analysis of the results of simulation,emulation and actual data gathered from the construction site,it achieves the conclusion that the simulation results prove the rationality and validity of using vibration acceleration to indicate the compaction degree.
