Ride comfort is the driving performance of the vehicle, which can be used to evaluate the level of comfort, safety and reliability. The study of the ride comfort can understand and control the dynamic characteristics of the automobile vibration system, so as to ensure the comfort of the passengers and improve the safety of the vehicle. In order to test and optimize the ride comfort of the experimental vehicle, the research combined the research on simulation and vehicle vibration.This study is divided into three parts:simulation research, experimental research and simulation optimization of vehicle vibration test. The simulation research uses multibody dynamics simulation software ADAMS to model and simulation. When the corresponding road excitation is applied to the vehicle model, vehicle vibration is analyzed to get the parameters of simulation experiment of the vehicle ride comfort. Wheel constrained vehicle vertical vibration test of vehicle vibration research is used in vehicle vibration test, different amplitude and frequency produced by vibration test table achieves different road grade and vehicle speed under the random road spectrum. After the horizontal, vertical and vertical acceleration curves and power spectral density curves of the experimental vehicle were measured, the data analysis was carried out to obtain the comfort parameters of the experimental vehicle under the vehicle condition.Finally, through the coefficient matching between suspension stiffness and shock absorber damping, the vehicle ride comfort is optimized. A better optimization result is verified after multiple rounds verification.The results of this paper show that the ride comfort of the experimental vehicle is up to the industry standard. Through the simulation and optimization, the ride comfort of the vehicle in this paper is significantly improved.
