Urban rail transit system which has advantages in saving energy and lands, massive capacity, 24-hour operations, low pollution, safe etc. is one of the main solutions to improve urban traffic systems and develop public traffic systems in developed countries. With the new era of the metropolises with high density changing into urban agglomerations with high density in China, the improvement of the operational efficiency in space urban agglomerations with high density and the improvement of intensity and ecologicalization in developing regions of urban agglomerations with high density have become the main trend in China's construction of Urbanization. For Chinese Urban metropolises with high density, rail transit system has become or will become the key to the improvement of the operational efficiency in space urban agglomerations with high density and environments of urban traffic systems.Learning from the experience of the development of urban rail transit system in developed countries is very important to the improvement of construction of the urban rail transit system's connection.Introducing the theory of transect zones in America's form-based codes, this article divided rail transit station location into several continuous transect zones, put forward the Classification systems of rail transit stations based on the node-location property.On this basis, studying the following 4 aspects :traffic types and connection's mode of rail transit stations, the layout of connection's facilities, the organization of connections' traffic and operational management of rail transit stations, this article has done some research with examples to the urban rail transit system's connection in Japan and Singapore and focused on the discussion of the time and space efficiency of urban rail transit system's connection based on the theory of transect zones to provide some fundamental references and criterions in the constructions of convenient and efficient urban rail transit system's connection. At last, this article put forward the optimization strategy of Tianjin's urban rail transit system's connection based on the situation of development of Tianjin's urban rail transit.
