Currently,the hydraulic technology in high pressure,high-speed,high-power,low noise,high reliability,high integration and other direction has made significant development,but in the high-pressure and high-speed hydraulic system it is prone to cavitation which can cause cavitation damage to hydraulic components and circuits.As the common control components in the hydraulic system,throttle valve plays an important role in the hydraulic technology,but the cavitation noise problem is very serious.There are many studies of the phenomenon of cavitation,but the studies just stay the level of some theoretical hypotheses and empirical experiment conclusion.Because of the severity and complexity of the harm which caused by cavitation and cavitation erosion do to the hydraulic system,measures should be taken in the actual project to suppress cavitation.In order to solve this problem,a new type of throttle valve with the ability to inhibit the cavitation was designed and experiments are conducted to study the effect of inhibition of cavitation of new type throttle valve.The article first proposed the turbulence of fluid pressure as a measure of the power spectral intensity degree of cavitation strength standards.Experiments show that the new type of throttle valve can inhibit the cavitation,and the throttle valve under different inlet and outlet pressure conditions the inhibit cavitation effect size is also different.In addition,fluid simulation shows that the new throttle can suppress cavitation.According to the fluid simulation results,to improve the design of the new throttle and make the effect of inhibit cavitation phenomenon better.The main contents are as follows:?1?The research direction and its significance are put forward on the basis of in-depth study of the domestic and international research status about cavitation.?2?A new type of throttle valve with outlet pressure feedback structure is designed and produced.Experiments prove that the new type of throttle valve have obvious inhibition ability of cavitation in a certain range.?3?A standard to measure the hydraulic components' degree of cavitation isproposed and the calculation formula is put forward: using pulsating pressure power spectral intensity as a measure of the degree of cavitation.Build an experimental system to measure the degree of inhibit cavitation,experiments verify the feasibility of the power spectrum of fluctuating pressure intensity as a measure of the degree of cavitation.?4?The calculation method of power spectrum effect factor ??1 and ??2 are proposed.Using the power spectrum of the quantization effect factor ??1 and ??2 to Characterization the effect of throttle valve inlet and outlet pressure variation control cavitation.Summed up the throttle inlet and outlet pressure variation suppression capability cavitation strength of law.?5?Using the fluid simulation on the new type of throttle valve and the ordinary throttle,and compare both the size of the cavitation area,from qualitative level to further verify the new type of throttle valve do have the ability to inhibit the cavitation.Similar to experimental research method,the simulation effectively verify the feasibility of the new design of the throttle.?6?Through analysis of simulation results found that there is improvement room for the new type of throttle valve.Improve the new type of throttle valve cavity artifacts and compared with the simulation results,the improvement had improving the new type of throttle valve cavitation control capability.
