The injector has the advantages of simple structure, no moving parts, and low grade heat energy recovery, which is widely used in engineering practice. It has great significance for energy efficiency and environmental protection. In this paper, the main assumptions and formulas of the theory selected are summaried, and the differences between them are compared and analyzed. It is found that most of the ejector design calculation theories are improved by changing some assumptions or modifying correction factor. At the same time, the research progress of the ejector is summarized, which embodies the trend and necessity of the design and calculation of the ejector.The theoretical models given by Sokolov, Ao, EI-Dessouky and Specification for design of steam-Jet vacuum pump for petrochemical are selected comprehensively as the theoretical basis of optimization design of the software, and the theoretical model of performance analysis in the paper is the theoretical basis of performance analysis of the software. With the VB6.0, the optimized design and the performance analysis theory of ejector are transformed into a programmable computer language, and the integrated software v1.0 development is finished for optimization design and performance analysis of ejector.The integrated software for optimization design and performance analysis of ejector is based on user-friendly interface, optimization design and performance analysis, are relatively independent, and use the same condition-known interface. The software not only has a compact layout but also easy to operate. Software packaged into executable files, can be installed and uninstalled independedtly so that it can be used and promoted conveniently. In addition, various working medium in the software can be selected by user, which expands the use of the software and further provides convenience to explored the design of ejector and other related work.To test and verify the feasibility of the software, R141b, R600a, R134a and ammonia four kinds of working medium are chosen, according to the known conditions of the relevant literatures, using the developed software to calculate, and the calculating results are compared with the experimental data, the results show that the deviation between them is within 20%, which embodies the applicability of the software. Meanwhile, using the software to analyse the practical case, the steam injection pump in the second steel plant of Baosteel, the results show that the maximum deviation between the calculating value of the software and the known data is 11.45%, which shows the good applicability of the software in practical application.
