In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, cold-formed steel structures get more and more widely used, but its poor fire resistance, so the issue of fire safety in buildings such increasingly serious. How to protect the essential security conditions of life under fire indoor staff. Traditional research methods and experimental consumes a lot of manpower and financial resources, and accompanied by certain risks. Therefore, the use of computer simulation software to study the issue of fire safety is fire evacuation researchers commonly used approach.In order to study cold-formed steel structure when the fire spread and smoke development characteristics and methods of law officers how quickly and efficiently carry out the evacuation, we use computer simulation software interior of fire considering the spread of fire laws and how to effectively establish evacuation path combine research, improve the accuracy of solving the problem of fire safety.A cold-formed steel building in the place of Hefei is selected as object of study in this paper. According to provide CAD drawings to the actual size of the building and furnishing of equipment, using the latest version of the fire field simulation software Pyro Sim rational and effective simplified, create 3D physical models of buildings. Moreover, based on some empirical data of fire at our country and abroad, people start to set a different fire source location to simulate different fire scenarios. Then, to simulate the fire by Pyro Sim software FDS calculation feature creep characteristics and smoke transport law, focusing on the layers 2m in height, and the temperature at the exit stairway, flue gas distribution and visibility, analysis results different conditions fire hazard critical time. Then use Pathfinder evacuation simulation software to simulate the establishment in each room to simulate the model after including evacuation stairwell, set the parameters for the evacuation of personnel to study law, computing layers evacuation safety time, researchers in evacuation process density and velocity, so as to analyze different scenarios of fire safety personnel can effectively escape in a safe evacuation time.Finally, considering the spread of fire protection law to establish evacuation path method, critical fire danger conditions each time and personnel safety evacuation time comparative analysis of building evacuation performance in different fire scenarios specific conditions were assessed, more development information intelligence induced dynamic optimization of evacuation options, providing technical support for the city fire safety.
