With the rapid development of civil engineering disciplines, the requirements of building in security and economic are also gradually increasing by Engineers. To having a better anti-seismic performace,we often just increasing the components section size, howerve,It is not reasonable and economic to improve stiffness and engry dissipation.A recent years, many practical projects after the earthquake observation shows that that isolated building in high intensity earthquake area with a excellent anti-seismic performance. According to the mechanical characteristics of isolated structure, the anti-seismic performance of the building can be greatly improved by using the isolation measure. However, the design method of high-rise isolated building is usually based on the response spectrum reduction method of horizontal in our country. The time history analysis method is used to calculate the horizontal reduction factor-beta, Then the beta value is used to reduce the impact factor of the upper earthquake action. The method used to calculate the internal force is the response spectrum method. Although this method is simple and convenient for engineering application, but this method is not directly related to the nonlinear structure of isolation layer and the upper structure, There may be problems in the calculation of the internal force of the upper structure member, And because of the limitation of the response spectrum method, there are some errors in the calculation results of the high order mode and the long period structure of the high-rise building. So, In this paper, a method based on the time history under moderate earthquake is proposed to calculation Internal force of high-rise isolated structure. At the same time, the practical engineering of a frame shear wall structure is adopted as the research object. The internal force of the upper structural members calculated by the two methods are compared. So as to find out the difference between the two design methods in the calculation of the internal force of the component and the effect of the isolation bearing on the internal force of the upper structure. In this paper, we will study the time history analysis method and reduction response spectrum method by a frame-shear wall tructure, the main work of the arricle including the following three parts:1. Verifing the correctness of the building model. We establish the isolation model and seismic model in two different softwares—Sap2000 and Etabs2013. And making sure these indicators(i.e. quality, period, floor rigidity etc.) are in a acceptable range. 2. In order to use the method of time history analysis, this study adopts a method of selecting waves and determining the number of wave number. 3. Calculating different ? values and comparing them. We will consider two kinds of ? values, one of them is got by traditional isolation design method, the other is obtained by all internal forces with a single components under an artificial wave. 4. Comparing the structural forces between this two kinds of design methods. We choose 20 artificial waves and 3 natural waves, to calculate the forces of a typical horizontal floor member and a typical full-floor vertical member. The sap2000 will be used to calculate the internal forces.
