In a growing advocacy of sustainable development today, energy conservation and emission reduction in energy-saving insulation, low temperature frozen storage, refrigeration engineering and building insulation and other areas of high energy consumption is very important. Cold plate refrigerated vehicle store cold by phase change materials, charge at night when electricity prices is low, not only to reduce oil consumption and transportation costs, and reduce the inside temperature fluctuations with cold energy released by storage devices, in addition cool storage phase change material have the benefit of low price and green environmental protection, so cold plate refrigerated vehicle will become the main direction of development of the refrigerated transport. Currently, the main problem of cold plate refrigerated vehicle is the poor uniformity of temperature field, and research focused on air distribution, insulation materials, goods stacking mode and other factors which have effects on the temperature field in recent years. Cold plate arrangement remains to be further studied. For these reasons, this paper established the heat transfer model of cold plate refrigerated compartment, The influences of different cold plate arrangement on the temperature field of refrigerated compartment were analyzed. provide the basis for improving the cold plate layout, reducing the temperature gradient distribution and optimize structural design of refrigerated vehicles. The main contents of this article are the following:(1)The numerical simulation of temperature field in the no-load refrigerated compartment under different cold plate arrangement was carried out by Fluent. The temperature of compartment was lower, and temperature uniformity was good after 10 hours while cold plate was disposaled to the sides of the compartment; compartment temperature difference was large in the initial stage and narrow in the terminal when cold plate set by topand set by side coexist, temperature of measuring points and temperature difference is slightly lower than the cold plate set by top.(2)Considering effect of cold plate arrangement for cargo security, available volume and gravity center height of refrigerated compartment and other factors, two different cold plate arrangement of refrigerator compartment is developed, the temperature field experiment of no-load cold plate refrigerator compartment is carried out. The results shows that the cold plate set by top and side coexist is more reasonable, the temperature and the temperature difference was slightly lower than cold plate set by top. This is consistent with the simulation results of no-load refrigerated compartment, so the calculation model can be used in the simulation of the temperature field in cold storage compartments.(3)The numerical simulation of temperature field in the load refrigerated compartment under cold plate set by top and side coexist is carried out, results shows that the model within8 hours is to meet the standard requirements of frozen cargo transport. For a longer time of transport of goods on the basis of the model, proposal to replace the eutectic liquid with phase change material with higher latent heat, or appropriate to increase the volume of eutectic liquid.
