Based on the Tientsin Hospital project,which the excavation depth is 14.30 m, in this paper, I study two supporting structures, which are diaphragm wall and piles. What’s more, it compares the advantages and disadvantages of two supporting forms. Besides, piles are analyzed by numerical simulation. In this paper, the main contents and conclusions are as follows:1. The diaphragm wall supporting structure is firstly used in engineering, but in actual construction unpredictable adverse effect of construction. Through the analysis of the factors such as design, construction, geological conditions, it is concluded that the diaphragm walling adverse reasons of supporting structure in this project. It should not be in the particular geological conditions and down even the wall of foundation pit supporting forms.2. According on changing supporting form, pile is chanced. Based on data of actual measurement and numerical simulation, pile along the vertical and the horizontal displacement of the horizontal displacement of the transverse deformation trends were tested "bow",and the displacement along the direction of increasingly pit depth larger, but always at the maximum displacement above the surface near the excavation. Retaining wall at the top of the horizontal and vertical displacement during excavation consistent trends, and with the excavation progresses, retaining wall at the top of both horizontal and vertical displacement is growing.3. Excavation of soil subsidence values outside the curve is "slender fluted" and the settlement value is not, explain the process in the excavation pit on the surface around foundation subsidence effects are basically the same. And as the excavation progresses, lateral soil foundation settlement value also followed increments, generally 2.5~5.0 times the excavation depth.4. Based on the measured data, the foundation pit surrounding underground water and surrounding buildings are in accordance with the relevant specification requirements, so the pile for foundation pit retaining structure of deep foundation pit surrounding the underground water level and the surrounding buildings settlement control effect is good.Studies have shown that the choice of supporting structure on deep foundation not only related to the geographical environment and geological conditions of the project located, but also related to the projects of other construction process. The arrangement of the project construction process of foundation pit supporting project success or failure, has a profound impact, pile the underground continuous wall deep foundation pit supporting structure is successful, a very important factor, is reasonably adjust the construction process, put pile construction before filling pile construction, effectively blocking the intrusion of underground pressure on water, guarantee the smooth the piles into a hole. Pile of deep foundation pit supporting structure give full play to the advantages of the structure solved the difficult problem of engineering, engineering research provides a new exploration for us.
