The Integrated Security System Construction Of Wudadao Disrict,Tianjin

There is a great deal of historic district in our country, which carries a long history and culture of the city and contains a lot of precious historical sites. No doubt that our historic districts, as the outstanding culture heritage of China, ha s the high conservation value. However, most of the historic districts are suffering from the serious safety problems, due to the aging architecture, outdated infrastructure, mismanagement and of course the lack of integrated safety system. These security issues can causing fire, damage of the building and other safety hazards decadent which may leading to the irreparable loss of our historic heritage and city's culture. Therefore, it is high time to establish an integrated safety system for our historic districts, as their safety planning and management guidance.The present study is a basic research project that based on the National Natural Science Foundation project <research of the historical built-up areas security system based on the dynamic simulation>(No.51178297). And also a cooperation projects with the “historical building protection office of Tianjing”. The major focus of the study is to establish an integrated security system for the historical district, Wudadao District. The thesis is aiming at all kind of security risks and problems that jeopardize the district's long-term survival and development, especially the security problems caused by the bad architecture quality in the District.The study mainly includes three parts of issue. Firstly, having a comprehensive safety investigation of all buildings, streets, infrastructures and other facilities in the Wudadao District, followed with a series of scientific evaluations. Secondly, based on the safety status investigation and analysis of the historic district, the thesis proposed the integrated safety planning requirements and management guidelines, respectively from the control and management basis, to improve the security capability of Wudadao District. Finally, using the case study and project implementation of Wudadao District as an example, the study will establish an integrated safety system, which can be the general application of all historic districts, guiding the future research and improving their integrated security capabilities.
