Microgrid is one of the most effective ways to use renewable energy. How to realize the energy management of microgrid and optimize energy use, at the same time reduce the influence of microgrid of power distribution network, has very important significance.One kind of energy management system based on circuit switching mechanism was designed in this paper, which can realize the energy management of microgrid, reduce the microgrid adverse impacts on the power distribution network, achieve the optimization matching of source and load running, and reach the purpose of rational utilization of renewable energy. This paper mainly completed the following works:1. The development and the significance at home and abroad of microgrid energy management system was introduced, and based on circuit switching mechanism of energy management system operation mode, control method, the grid connected operation of technical standards, operation optimization measures, and the related technical problems were summarized and concluded, laying a theoretical basis for the design of energy management system based on circuit switching mechanism.2. The energy management system overall design scheme based on circuit switching mechanism was proposed; the design of each main module based on circuit switching mechanism, including master control module, AC sampling module, DC sampling module, and switch array module, as well as the corresponding accessory hardware parts were completed.3. The software of energy management system based on circuit switching mechanism was designed with corresponding management strategies. The program was also designed, which mainly included master control program, source and load matching program, data acquisition program and data storage program.4. According to the energy management system hardware with corresponding software design based on circuit switching mechanism, a experimental platform was established which could achieve smooth load switching, optimization matching of source and load, reasonable adjustment of the energy storage devices and safe and steady operation of the system.When cooperating with the electric distribution network, the EMS designed in this paper can regulate power in accordance with the real-time electricity circumstances of distribution network to achieve a purpose of peak load shifting by controlling its own energy storage devices. What's more, it can efficiently monitor and control the renewable energy sources and loads to improve the stability and reliability of the system. As a result, it shall be suitable for the energy management of the micorogrid of home or small office.
