As an important component of frame-shear wall structure and framework—core tube structure,the seismic behavior of coupling beams have an important influence on the whole structural seismic behavior.For different high cross ratio coupling beams,the existing research show that deformation and ductility properties are different as the high cross ratio of coupling beams,generally speaking,when the beam width or height changes,the Energy mode and the failure mode of the beams will have some changes.In addition,shear wall structure often appears small high cross ratio coupling beams due to the need for building and structural design of the functional requirements,and the small high cross ratio coupling beams may have no ductile shear failure easily.In order to systematically study the influence of the collaborative work about coupling beam of shear wall structure and influence of seismic performance,this paper has two-part study:Firstly,refer to the relevant literature to establish a number of different steel coupling beam shear wall structure simplified model and then have an element simulation which was used ABAQUS,at last,make a compare about the result even from the energy beam failure mode and manner and shear stiffness in three directions;Secondly,use ABAQUS finite element model based on a real project,which was fosced on the effects of different high cross ratio coupling beam to the overall structural stiffness degradation,ductility and energy aspects and the effects of "double coupling beams " and "triple coupling beams " shear wall structure for ease of no ductile shear failure of small high cross ratio coupling beam shear wall structure.This paper makes a detailed comparative analysis of the research about seismic performance of different steel coupling beam shear wall structure and concrete shear wall structure based on some actual project and then draw a number of conclusions and recommendations designed:Beam span should not be too much even to ensure a curved coupling beam,thus ensuring even steel beams full nonlinear rotational capacity and shear plastic deformation;When the beam span is too small,"equivalent height" of a pair of beams can be used to replace small high cross ratio-coupling beam.
