Since the 21 st century, China's urban construction has developed rapidly. Due to the growth of urban population, ground traffic already can't satisfy people's needs. Subway has a lot of advantages which has become the first choice to solve the problem of urban traffic.With the development of science, shield is widely used in subway construction. However, in the process of subway construction, shield tunnel will have an effect on the surrounding environment. Sometimes there are even serious consequences in the process of subway construction. Therefore, experts and scholars have done a lot of researches to predict and control the ground deformation caused by shield construction. However, the subway construction has regional differences. Under different geological conditions, large differences of shield construction impact on the surrounding environment.Main works in this dissertation are listed as follows:1.Related research of subway engineering status at home and abroad are introduced:Including the development of shield construction, shield machine work mechanism, and the influence mechanism of adjacent soil induced by tunnel excavation. This paper analysis the influenced factors of shield excavation on the surrounding environment.2.Under the background of shield section of Zhengzhou Metro Line 1 from Gongda station to Zhengda station, the geological condition and the design of the monitoring project are introduced in detail. By the data in situ, it is seen that the main area of the influence of shield construction on the surrounding environment is concluded. It has positive significance to the safety construction of Zhengzhou subway.3.This paper uses the finite element software ABAQUS to establish the 3D model of the shield tunneling process. At the same time, the simulation process is introduced in detail.Finally, the simulated results and measured results are compared. The influence of shield excavation on surrounding environment in the west of Zhengzhou was summarized. The results show that the maximum settlement within the scope of control and the center of the tunnel is gradually reduced from the center to both sides. After a period of time, thecumulative settlement curve gradually developed into a normal distribution curve.4.Based on the comparison of measured data and simulation results, the influence of shield excavation on surrounding environment is summarized. The control measures should be taken in the process of shield construction. It has important reference and guiding significance to the similar subway project in the future.
