Hybrid coupled walls use steel coupling beams instead of the traditional reinforced concrete beams.It combines the concrete shear wall lateral stiffness coupling beam and steel and plastic energy dissipation ability strong advantage. Wall limb contains steel edge components mix even limb wall is called the new hybrid limb wall. The new type structure can reduce the constraint of connected area of shear wall, improve the energy dissipation of connection area, improve construction efficiency.The first part of this paper introduces the basic concept of coupling ratio under different load form and deduces the calculation formula.Second part using the ANSYS finite element analysis software, models one side of the 12 residential building in the double shear wall as the prototype. Through the establishment of model, meshing, restrictions, such as process and dynamic simulation analysis, studies its seismic performance;The third part mainly studies the steel coupling beam influences on seismic performance of the new hybrid coupling wall structure,.of coupling beam. By changing the beam failure form, the section size and steel yield strength on the basis of the basic model, three series of eight model are established.We respectively study the effect of the above factors on seismic performance of structures.Get the following conclusion:(1) Shear beam structure is more advantageous to seismic performance, so we should consider shear beam damage form first in the design.(2) The structure of the high coupling ratio has better seismic performance,we propose structure coupling ratio between 45% and 60%.(3) Within a certain range, increasing the yield strength of steel coupling beam has little affect on structural seismic performance.Finally, on the basis of the finite element analysis, this paper puts forward the relevant design and seismic design advice for the new hybrid coupled walls structure.
