At the same time, if the humidity rises rapidly, it probably occur accident of the bus flashover, which makes influence on stable operation of equipment in substation. As the improvement of substation automation level, it is necessary to devise an effective online monitoring plan, in order to solve the problem of real-time non-electricity monitoring in substation. In order to detect the situation and take measures to prevent damage to the electrical equipment, as well as personal undue damage.This paper first substation non-power remote monitoring system based on ZigBee wireless sensor network design for overall program as the starting point, expand the topics. The system mainly consists of three major components:the terminal monitoring equipment, data management machine and the host machine management software. The terminal monitoring equipment mainly refers to the wireless temperature sensors and smart controllers. The paper from the program selection, equipment hardware design, software design of three parts, is described in detail the terminal monitoring equipment research and development process. Intelligent controller with perfect control strategies to achieve effective regulation and control of the switch cabinet temperature and humidity.
