In recent years,the rapid development of the transport need asphalt pavement to have a better performance.In order to meet the high load of traffic and prolong the life of road,this passage reference the case of fiber cement concrete,to make use of the glass fiber to rise the road performance of bituminous mixtures.In this paper,there are some innovations in the evaluation test on high temperature?low temperature and water stability of bituminous mixtures.The main works is as follow:The traditional research method is control the length but change the content of fiber,but this passage try to use 3mm?6mm?12mm lengths of chopped fiberglass at same time,their mixing ratio is 9:9:2.This change is aim at concatenating the coarse and fine aggregate to enhance the globality of bituminous mixtures.And the fiberglass is wrapped by asphalt before experiment.Because it will make fiberglass distributed more evenly and the strength of joint more stronger.In this paper,the fiberglass is type of E-glass and it's external infiltration agent(fiberglass' micro defect that on the surface will be fixed by infiltration agent in the production process)is oleophylic.Because this type of fiberglass is more suitable in bituminous mixtures as reinforcement.This passage abandon the traditional way that make fiberglass as admixtures but no change in bituminous mixtures,and make use of equivalent specific surface area between fiberglass and slag to replace slag with fiberglass at the same specific surface.It not only be as filler but also do reinforcement ?crack resistance ?more sticky.So bituminous mixtures' mechanical strength and deformation capacity are promoted.This paper drawn up 3% ? 7% ? 10% three replacement rate,and convert replacement rate into content is 0.2%?0.4%?0.6%.The experiment result show that bituminous mixtures' performance have improved overall at a high content especially in high temperature,and more content,more better performance.However,the length of 3mm and 6mm fiberglass in bituminous mixtures alone and no asphalt wrapped have not good performance as them together.the length of 12 mm fiberglass almost clump together or have no single fiber in bituminous mixtures.This paper detect the true dispersion of fiberglass in the bituminous mixtures through test of burning and dissolution.It's that remove the asphalt on the surface of specimen but keep the fiberglass by the test.And then,add up the single fiber and agglomerate fiber(more than 10 single fiber together).This paper define the ratio of dispersion is that single fiber of total.the results show that ratio of dispersion are more than 70% at three replacement ratio.Grant,the smaller replacement ratio have a bigger ratio of dispersion.
