| As we know,walking is one of the most important components of the traffic system.The perdestrian are the most vulnerable groups.Pedestrian signal setting can effectively protect the right of pedestrians.But the correct interpretation of the signal is the basic premise of the implementation of the effectiveness of the signal.Setting the interval of pedestrian signal is to guarantee the pedestrian crossing the road at this phase.However,due to the inconsistency of setting interal of pedestrian signal,there is a great difference in the interpretation of the interval of pedestrian signal and pedestrian behavior.There are two aspect of analysis in this paper.One is analysis of the pedestrian behavior in the interval of pedestrian signal.The other is analysis of the decision of pedestrian and surving in detail.First of all,based on the theory of planned behavior,the questionnaire was designed,and the questionnaire was improved through pre investigation.Finally,173 questionnaires were analyzed.The results show that pedestrians would cross the road in the flashing green rather than wait so long.Law does not stipulate whether the pedestrian crossing in the flashing green.When pedestrians are supported by the friend and famil,they would have confidence to cross the road in the flashing green by increasing crossing of behavioral intention.When the interval of signal light,the speed of pedestrians in the first half road was significantly higher than the later half road.Considering about pedestrian crossing behavior in the interval of pedestrian signal and combined with survey results,this paper established binary logit model to describe the pedestrian behavior by means of adopting the method of investigation questionnaire and video observations.Then,the model can predict the pedestrian crossing behavior accurately.The accuracy rate was 85.5%.What’s more,in order to study the effect of the interal of pedestrian signal,the author collect 1196 pedestrian samples which are pedestrian crossing speed in the green and flashing green.Then,the author analyzed the speed of pedestrians in the following ways,such as gender,age,location,status and signal display.This paper used basic statistical analysis and ANOVA to analyze the characteristics of pedestrian crossingspeed.The analysis result are as follows.The average speed of pedestrian crossing is1.20m/s.When the volume of pedestrians per hour is high,the crossing speed deviation factor is biger.The male and female crossing speed have no significant difference.The adolescent crossing speed is greater than the elderly.With or without other people have no significant influence on crossing speed.The pedestrian crossing speed is higher with countdown display signal.The pedestrian speed at the later stage of the green light was significantly higher than that of the early stage of the green light. |
