| Colour has a significant effect to reveal the city’s charm,to create the city’s characteristics,and to improve the quality of urban environment.For urban residents,the space of walking street is smaller than other street’s,so it’s more sensitive for they to feel it.Urban pedestrian street is the epitome of the modern city,and the color of pedestrian street is the essence of urban color.As a unique form of streets,pedestrian street is not only bearing the responsibility of commercial and transportation,but also the important public space for urban residents.Throughout the domestic and foreign about urban color research,all of them mostly focused on the city streets and even whole macro color planning of the city.Few studies concerning with pedestrian street which is more typical.Different from the macroscopic planning of urban color design,pedestrian street landscape color need to undertake a more detailed analysis and design according to its particularity.The research object in this paper is landscape color design of pedestrian street.First of all,from the perspective of the color science theory,the characteristics of urban space landscape,urban public space,location theory focuses on the pedestrian street space step by step.By the summing up of the relevant color theory of pedestrian street,combined "color" with "pedestrian street space",which are the two main part of this research.Second,this paper took color of pedestrian street landscape as a practice,analysed from the existing color problems and the reasons of them in pedestrian street today,the factors influencing the color design of walking street,presented principles of walking street color design.By combining with pedestrian street space feature and principle of colour,this paper put forward some specific design methods,and then proved the feasibility of this design method based on research on good examples.Last but not least,this paper took south Huang Xing Road in Chang Sha as example,designed the landscape color of this walking street detailedly,raised design theoretic to the height of methodology and then made conclusion.Pedestrian street colour is a combination of various elements,but there are certain rules to follow still.This paper tried to summarize the point of walking street color design influenced by different factors and for other researchers to reference.. |
