Abstract/Summary:
The occurrence of earthquake is unpredictable,which brings immeasurable loss to human life and property.In order to avoid the serious influence caused by the earthquake,how to improve the performance of earthquake disaster reduction of building structure,that has been widely concerned and studied by scholars at home and abroad.Energy dissipation design is an effective method to improve the ductility of the structure,which has broad application prospects.Lead damper is highly concerned for its simplicity and high energy consumption.Based on the research of the lead damper at home and abroad,to lead plate damper as the basis,a new type of lead damper,lead plate damper of variable cross section,is designed.And its simulation and analysis are carried out to study the energy dissipation performance in the building structure.The research contents are as follows:(1)Reciprocating loading on lead plate damper,lead plate is squeezed,and there are signs of depression at the center.Because stiffness and shearing force of the lead plate are great,it is easy to be squeezed into.If stiffness of the center is relatively small,it won’t be easy to be squeezed into.A new type of lead damper,lead plate damper of variable cross section,is proposed.And the friction energy dissipation of the base steel tube can be penetrated through the elastic and plastic stage of the whole loading.The hysteresis loop is full,and the energy dissipation capacity is very strong.(2)Based on the theory of passive control,we develop lead plate damper of variable cross section,as well as the working principle and the components of each component are expounded.At the same time,on the basis of the finite element analysis,the whole analysis of lead plate damper of variable cross section is carried out by using ABAQUS software.Analysis of lead plate of variable cross section withdifferent width and thickness,different U arc chord length and depth,the different number of lead plate of variable cross section,the difference of amplitude,period and the number of cycles,set of base steel tube,impact on energy performance of lead damper.The results show that with the increase of the width and thickness of lead plate of variable cross section,its energy dissipation capacity is gradually weakened.With the increase of the number of lead plate of variable cross section,the energy dissipation capacity is gradually enhanced.With the increase of the depth of U arc,it is easier to enter the working state,but its energy dissipation capacity is gradually decreasing with the increase of depth.In addition,the energy dissipation capacity of lead plate of variable cross section is not increased with the increase of U arc chord length.The VPl-2 curves are full,and its energy dissipation capacity is strong.With the increase of the amplitude,the energy dissipation capacity of the lead damper for mounting connecting member is gradually increased.Moreover,different loading cycles and cycle times have little effect on the energy dissipation performance.(3)By using the time history analysis method,the energy dissipation analysis of the building structure with and without lead plate damper of variable cross section are carried out.The results show that floor acceleration,floor displacement,floor velocity,shear force and axial force of the frame structure with lead plate damper of variable cross section are better than structure without lead damper.Almost no mutation,the rate of change is relatively slow,and the damping control effect is good.
