Colored LED Used In Plant Landscape Lighting

As emerging in recent years, LED, a green energy-saving light source, with the advantages of small volume, low energy consumption, easy installation, high luminous efficiency and varies color changing, has become more widely used in many area. But,at present, LED is not widely used in the field of plant landscape lighting,and lack of the corresponding lighting design theory, especially in the application of colored light LED has remain a lot of problems.At first, this subject survey the present situation and problems for LED used in plant landscape lighting, and made a summary. On the basis of choosing landscape lawn(American sijiqing)as the experimental object. This subject test the height and illumination on the surface of the lawn. Under the condition of the experiment,this subject made a mix-LED light and a subjective evaluation for the lighting effect experiment. At last,on the base of former experiment,this subject used lighting simulation software, Lumion, with different lamps and lanterms, light color,power and light mode, also considering plant lighting conditions under different weather conditions,made a plant lighting design with different landscape scene.With the experiments and simulation design, some research achievements can be concluded as follows:1. In the use of colored light LED to the growth stage landscape lawn lighting,with induction and summary in intensity of on the grass appearance quality(height,density,texture,color,uniformity)and measurements of illumination on the surface, it known that in the actual environment, the LED effect on plant growth could be negligible. Red light LED has slight the promoting effect of plant growth compared to other light color LED;2. As more power of colored light LED, more chromatic aberration in color on the surface of the lawn, as the color brightness increased on lawn surface, the lower in color saturation.Compared with natural light color,under the same lighting power condition,the lawn surface under the condition of blue LED color,has more chromatic aberration;3. Through the subjective survey,it found that people are more likely to choose the light color which bring quiet and warm feeling,such as yellow,blue,purple.It also found that the relationship between light source power and the comfort of visual experience present peaks shaped change.4. Using three-dimensional modeling software for simulating plant landscape lighting design. Analysis under the condition of different color light irradiation, what the landscape lawn can achieve under the lighting effect.Under normal circumstances, in the large plant landscape lighting, it is suitable for use warm-color,low chromatic aberration light for lighting, and the lighting style is the cast-lighting; In special plants landscape lighting, it is suitable for using cool-color,high chromatic aberration light, and the lighting style is the flood-lighting.Through the above research,it can be helpful in the future of the actual colored light LED used in plant landscape lighting engineering project, and provide the corresponding theoretical basis and design method.
