The grounding system is an important part in substation, it plays a very important role in protecting all of the equipment and staff. In recent years, there are many accidents due to improper grounding system design, so it is necessary to grounding system study. In the process of substation expansion, old grounding system due to factors such as corrosion is difficult to meet the requirement of the indictors, how to efficiently improve the total station grounding system performance is also a major problem.In this essay, through numerical calculation?the software simulation and field measurement, etc study the electrical parameters?the layout of horizontal conductor structure and increase the influence of ground vertical grounding resistance value. Through the study found that:1?Using the empirical formula method and numerical calculation method and grounding system of electrical parameters is calculated, the applicability of the two are different; 2?Horizontal nonuniform arrangement grounding conductor shall be carried out in accordance with the law of index can not only make the surface potential distribution more uniform effect but also can reduce the material usage, choose the appropriate grounding system when the compression ratio can reach the technical and economic optimal.3?Due to the shielding effect, so in the use of vertical grounding electrodes to reduce the grounding resistance value, is not the more the better. When the length of vertical grounding electrodes is about 1.25 times the equivalent radius of level ground net and distributed evenly around the level ground net, the drag reduction effect can reach the technical and economic optimal.For example of the Huang Cun substation expansion project, the essay analyzed the conductor material selection, the level of conductor arrangement, the position of the vertical grounding electrodes, root number and so on, finally through grounding system comparison between measured and calculated value, demonstrate the validity of the research contents in this paper.
