Compared with the traditional burning in free space, the porous medium combustion(PMC)is a new combustion technology, which is characterized by the high burning rate and high burning intensity, widening of combustion area, uniform temperature distribution and low pollutant emissions. In this paper,a real simulation for PMC is established. The real simulation is a new simulating method,by which flow, heat transfer combustion is calculated in the fluid domain and solid domain partly at the same time.Under the super large amounts of calculation, the pressure, velocity, temperature and other in the fluid domain and solid domain are gainedIn this paper, the flow of gas in porous media is simulated by the real simulation. It is shown that the real simulation results can reveal the complex changes of the pressure, velocity and other flow state in porous media.Compared with the macro model, the real simulation can reflect the actual situation of the turbulent flow and can more accurately show the pressure loss and velocity variation in different regions. Then,PMC of methane and air premixed gas is simulated by the real simulation method, and the effects of different equivalence ratios, different equivalence ratios and velocity, and the distribution of the components are analysised detailed. The real simulation results are comparaed with the experimental results, and it isshown that the real simulation can predict the temperature distribution and the distribution of temperature in the combustor. And it can be concluded that the amount of carbon monoxide produced by premixed gases in porous media is very small, which can reflect the characteristics of low emission of pollutants in porous media.
