Taxi is an important group in urban transportation. With the popularity of electric vehicles, taxis are also gradually transformed from the traditional fuel vehicles to pure electric vehicles. Thus, analyzing different charging methods of taxi economy is not only current research hotspot issues, also important to rapid advance of the industrialization of electric taxi industry. GPS data of Harbin taxi travel characteristics are acquired in this dissertation, combined with the processed data to study the economy of different charging methods of taxi, the main research content is shown below.Based on the practical road of Harbin taxi operation condition, the original data preprocessing were analyzed, including the error factors and the basis of data processing.Harbin taxi travel characteristics was built, including distribution of passenger mileage and traveling mileage in each period of weekday and weekend, as well as the the rush hour of taxi operation. And the ratio of different passenger-duration and passenger-time in different times are analyzed. Finally, the unloaded-ratio of taxis is studied from the two aspects of space and time, and the corresponding results are abtained.Segment of kinematic synthesis is used to determine 23 representative characteristic parameters of Harbin taxi travel characteristics. All the characteristic parameters are transformed to linear with principal component analysis. A new set of linearly independent variable parameters are oatained and the original characteristic matrix is transformed to be a lower dimension of principal component score matrix by calculating the cumulative contribution rate of each principal component, contribution rate and difference of simplifying. Finally the k-means clustering method is used to get the typical working condition of Harbin taxi.Combined with the structure of Harbin taxi travel data, taxi charging and exchanging battery models are established. Pure electric taxi efficiency are analyzed from the purchase cost, government taxes, energy costs, repair costs and revenue. Eventually, we determine the battery capacity and charging plan of promoting electric taxi.
