With the development of the construction industry and demands for architectural function, tall building with transfer story has been widely used in daily lives. In our country, beam transfer structure is widely used, and the study on beam transfer structure is relatively deeply. Some research results have been written into the current specification. Structure with transfer slab is applied less in earthquake area, the study of transfer slab is not enough in-depth, as the increasingly demands for building function, the transfer slab will be more and more used as well as the study will be more deeply. This paper studies the theory and its seismic calculation method, based on the present application situation and literature of transfer slab. According to the seismic performance problems of transfer slab, this article builds the numerical model of structure with transfer slab by ANSYS,and studies the modal analysis, responses spectrum analysis and transient dynamic analysis of structure. It studies the dynamic characteristics and reactions of transfer slab under horizontal seismic action, compares the difference between transfer beam and transfer slab in seismic performance. The results show that when the upper and lower axis of frame shear wall structure staggered more, the overall seismic performance of transfer slab is better than transfer beam, the local seismic performance of transfer slab is a bit poor. While selecting the form of structure, more factors should be taken into account. When structure with transfer slab’s arrangement is reasonable, this form can be adopted in the region of 7 degrees. This artical studies the seismic performance of transfer slab caused by the change of parameter through change the thickness of shear wall and transfer slab. With the increase of the shear wall’s thickness, the equivalent lateral stiffness ratio of the substructure and superstructure increases, the natural period decreases, the floor displacement and inter-story displacement angle decreases, the floor shear increases, seismic performance improved. With the increase of transfer slab’s thickness, the natural period and the floor displacement decreases, the inter-story displacement angle increases in substructure and decreases in superstructure, the floor shear increases. In this paper, research has shown that selecting reasonable parameters can make the structure seismic performance to achieve the optimal.
