As the global energy and environment problem increasingly prominent, the development of low fuel consumption, low emissions of new type of car referred to as the primary task of the development of automobile industry today.The Hybrid Electric Vehicles(HEV) are recognized as one of the most advanced technologies in the automobile industry. HEV is efficient for solving the world energy and environmental problemIn this paper, instantaneous equivalent fuel consumption minimization strategy based on the instantaneous optimal control strategy is adopt.We make the consumption in the process of the battery charge and discharge equivalent to a certain fuel consumption, and with minimal equivalent fuel consumption as the objective function we builded the instantaneous optimal control strategy.With energy transfer as the main line, in the Matlab/Simulink simulation platform we established a simplified model of vehicle, including engine, motor, batteries and wheels, transmission and coupling model of the device. The purpose of this paper is to explore the driving cycles’ influence on the energy saving effect of ECMS algorithm.Then, we analyze the selected 12 kinds of typical working conditions,and calculate the vehicle’s fuel consumption, and in the same conditions comparing with fuel consumption of logic threshold algorithm. The system simulation is completed in the cycles.The specific power parameter K and speed parameter δ are introduced,.The vehicle fuel economy is proposed as a performance index to analyze the driving condition parameters on the ECMS" s influence of the energy saving effect.Through the study of this article draws the following conclusions:with the increase of velocity parameter δ, fuel consumption decreased percentage shows a trend of increase.With the increase of specific power parameter K, the energy saving effect of ECMS algorithm is getting poor at the same time. With the increasing of average driving force,the fuel economy of ECMS algorithm is poor. So the speed parameters, specific power and the average driving force are the main factors affecting the energy saving effect of ECMS algorithm.Through the study of this article can provide the theoretical basis and inspection standards for real vehicle integrated control strategy formulation as well as matching parameters, and the bench and the real vehicle test.
