With the progress of the society and the lack of the energy, this kind of crisis are continually bothering people, so how to save energy become the focus. In such a background, the research and development of the energy-saving hydraulic pump which acted as a power source of hydraulic system is particularly urgent. Because of these characteristics, to keep pressure constant within the scope of the variable control and no flow losses, the constant pressure variable piston pump just accord with the requirement of energy-saving. Therefore, this topic has chosen the constant pressure variable piston pump to do some research.First of all, it introduces the background, the research status in the domestic and overseas, the method of the problems and software used.Secondly, it describes the composition and working principle of the constant pressure variable piston pump, it also establishes its mathematical model and analyzes the force of its key component, so that it can make preparation for the following AMESim modeling and ANSYS analysis.Thirdly, the simulation model of the constant pressure variable piston pump is established by the AMEsim, and simulated the dynamic characteristics. The analysis is made respectively in the load on the influence of the constant pressure variable piston pump, the system pressure of constant pressure variable piston pump, pressure-flow characteristic and the influence of piston hydraulic impact. Aim at the flow pulsation, it puts forward a new type of valve plate structure, and do some analysis on it.Fourthly, for a large part of the constant pressure variable piston pump, transmission shaft, it has done modal analysis, structure statics analysis and harmonic response analysis by the ANSYS Workbench. The first ten natural frequency and corresponding modes, the specific force situation and structure response of the frequency are obtained from the above analysis.Finally, for another large part of the constant pressure variable piston pump, cylinder block, it has done structure statics analysis and fatigue life analysis by the ANSYS-Workbench. The specific force situation and safety factor, life, damage situation are obtained from the above analysis.
