Air-supported structure is a kind of flexible structure, which is sensitive to wind load. Wind load often plays the important role on the structure design. However, the wind load shape coefficient is insufficient in the current load code, and it can't satisfy the requirement of complicated as well as variable shape of the engineering design. Due to flexible structure can't do the pressure measuring test in the wind tunnel, so the paper uses the wind tunnel test and numerical wind tunnel simulation method to research the wind pressure coefficient distribution characteristic of partial cylinder air-supported structure rigid model, and it analyzes different parameters to the effect on wind pressure coefficient distribution.Firstly, the study establishes the scaled rigid model by wind tunnel test, and it analyzes the influence on partial cylinder air-supported structure wind pressure coefficient distribution under different wind angles. Meanwhile it separately analyses the average wind pressure coefficient and fluctuating wind pressure coefficient distribution characteristics of the membrane surface in detail. So it obtains the wind pressure coefficient distribution rule of partial cylinder air-supported structure surface under different wind angles. Also, it compares the average wind pressure coefficient and fluctuating wind pressure coefficient of typical points under different wind angles. So that the differences and similarities of both distribution rule are discovered.Secondly, it analyzes the basic theory of wind load numerical simulation in the paper. In the light of the characteristics of air-supported structure, it selects the parameters and solving method of wind load numerical simulation of air-supported structure by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of each parameter and comprehensively considering the accuracy and efficiency. Finally, through using the CFD numerical simulation technology, wind pressure coefficient distribution rule of partial cylinder air-supported structure rigid model are analyzed. Numerical wind tunnel simulation is based on FLUENT software. It chooses RNG k-? turbulence model based on Reynolds averaging method(RANS), and analyzes the different parameters including the wind angle, rise-span ratio, length-width ratio, basement height, turbulence model and site classification on the influence of membrane surface wind pressure coefficient distribution. The wind load distribution rules of sectional-cylinder air-supported structure are summarized, and the results of numerical wind tunnel and wind tunnel test are compared. They are in good agreement in general. Meanwhile, it is verified that the two methods are effective.
