In the recent half a century, the process of urbanization in our country is promoted rapidly, and at the same time raises a number of problems wherein the more serious problem is the urban waterlogging disaster. However, in the 21 th century with rapidly developing in Economy and Society, urbanization is the inevitable main development trend, so it is urgently solved that how to deal with the urban waterlogging disaster in the process of urbanization. With the rapid development of computer technology, it is an urgent to establish the urban waterlogging real-time monitoring system that can timely monitor the specific circumstances of the urban waterlogging for the relevant departments. Based on the basic situation and solutions of the urban waterlogging of domestic and overseas, this thesis has proposed to apply the Hadoop which is the open software framework and used to distributed computing and storage of the big data, and the Io T that is the Internet of things platform to design the urban waterlogging real-time monitoring system for solving the shortcomings, which are some difficulties in the analysis and handling of the massive data and the real-time in the original urban waterlogging monitoring system.The specific work of this thesis is mainly focus on how to use the Hadoop which is the open software framework and used to distributed computing and storage of the big data to reasonable and scientific decorate the urban waterlogging monitoring points, and how to apply the Io T that is the Internet of things platform to the real-time processing of the data of the waterlogging level. The increase of the urban harden ground make the application of analyzing the urban DEM(Digital Elevation Model) to find low-lying areas to decorate the urban waterlogging monitoring points on these areas becomes a reasonable application that decorating urban waterlogging monitoring points. With the increase of the DEM data accuracy, the amount of the DEM data and the computational analysis of the DEM data are exponentially increasing, so the Hadoop is applied to analyze the urban DEM data in this thesis. Based on the information exchange technology between the Io T that is the Internet of things platform and different network(Internet, telephone network PSTN, mobile phone short message GSM network, GPRS network, Wi-Fi and LAN), and the MQTT(Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) communication protocol that can ensure the data real-time transmission, the urban waterlogging real-time monitoring system has a good performance in real time.Based on the Hadoop which is the open software framework and used to distributed computing and storage of the big data, the Io T that is the Internet of things platform, Web GIS and so on, the architecture of the urban waterlogging real-time monitoring system in this thesis is a Browser/Server architecture that is written in the Java programming language, and deployed in the Linux operating system. The architecture has the advantages of simple maintenance, scalability etc.
