| Resource shortages and environmental pollution have promoted demand for new energy from electric power industry.The distributed power based on the new energy will become an important part of the advanced grids and have a important significance.The access of distributed power will definitely bring various influences to the grid. Distributed power will affect the network’s trend and losses.First,this paper analyzes the influence on the losses of the distribution network caused by distributed power.The paper establishs a simplified model of the distribution network with and without distributed power to compare the differences between their network losses.After comparing the losses of these two cases,it’s found that there are three important factors affecting the network losses: access location, capacity and power factor.Besides making some theoretical analysis,this paper also uses simulation program to simulate the practical examples in order to find out how the network losses of the distribution network will change after the distributed power is installed.According to the results of the simulation,the paper puts forward a reasonable standard of installing the distributed power. Studies have shown that choosing reasonable access location, capacity and power factor will be advantageous to lower the losses of distribution network.Finally, this paper discusses use of improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm to decide the access location and capacity of distributed power.Because the standard PSO algorithm is easy to fall into local optima, this paper combines the standard PSO algorithm with the Simulated Annealing to make the PSO algorithm improved.The improved PSO algorithm has a better global optimization capability.After analyzing the decipline of the distributed power,this paper will use both improved PSO algorithm and standard PSO algorithm to simulate several practical examples.The simulation results verify the former theoretical analysis,and indicate that improved PSO algorithm with a better global optimization capability can lower the losses of distribution network efficiently. |
