The comfort of building living environment has always been the most written topics pursuit by the people, The temperature and humidity of air is one of the important factors influencing the comfortable living environment, and the selection of building materials will greatly influence the temperature and humidity of living environment. As artificial mineral fibre,slag fiber is made by industrial waste slag through sprayed at high-temperature, slag fiber have the quality of lightweight, heat retaining, sound insulating, it is commonly used for building filling materials, such as heat insulating material, sound-absorbing material. But it is rarely reported as the porous adsorption material.This study selects slag fiber as inorganic porous materials, its smooth surface will create new products which is rich in sial through NaOH-modified, so that the adsorption performance is enhanced. The porous phase change composite slag fibers are prepared with Na2SO4·10H2O, paraffin, the decanoic acid(CA)- lauric acid(LA) respectively as phase change material, using the vacuum impregnation method, in the condition of the different pressure, impregnation time, material ratio. The performance of composite material's heat and humidity are tested through differential scanning method and wet absorption equilibrium curve method, The morphology and structure are analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Result shows that in humidity 97% the composite of paraffin/fiber maximum equilibrium moisture content reach 9.3%, the phase transition temperature reach 27.54°C, the phase change latent heat reach 105.6J/g. It has good effect of humidity adjusting and thermal controlling.Second, gypsum composite materials are prepared by adding the paraffin/fiber to the plaster. For making gypsum has the performance of strength, naphthalene water reducer is mixed. The best mixing ratio is ultimately determined by the water using in gypsum composite material under different dosage. The flexural strength and compressive strength are also tested. Sometime, the thermal and moisture performance of six groups of simples are studied.
