| Base on summarizing the existing damage model, the thesis presents an elastic and brittle damage model frame of the rock for its damage evolution brittle characteristics. We can get the damage evolution of the rock by fitting different rock stress-strain curves with the frame model. We call the model is an elastic and brittle unified damage model because the thesis base on the unified strength theory. The model is well suited for the different brittle rocks’ damage evolution by a large number of rock mechanics experiment curves. By applying the model to the numerical simulation of the rock plate and rock cylinder, it reveals the damage phenomenon coincide well with the actual experiment’s phenomenon. So, the model is feasible and right. Finally, the model is applied to the rock failure process model of underground mining. It reveals the surface subsidence and the surrounding rock crack evolution. It also shows that the model has a strong engineering significance. |
