Portal crane widely used in each big port, its working comfort increasingly aroused people’s concern. In view of the characteristics of the machine itself- because of the characteristics of the machine itself-- the high center of gravity, high power and frequent start-stop shocks, coupled with poor working conditions, cause the motor vibration, the dynamic load of lifting, work speed change and other high strength and vibration caused by different kinds of random factors, etc. In the process of the interaction,vibration to the cab floor and seat passing through the structure system, eventually form a complex vibration is passed to the driver. While the driver is a complicated elastic system itself, the organ has its inherent frequency, When the natural frequency of the driver and the gantry crane’s excitation frequency are the same, it will cause the body to produce resonance effect, make the body feel uncomfortable, and even endanger the driver’s health. So, To carry out the gantry crane tower bridge vibration comfort evaluation research, proposed restrictions and way to improve mechanical equipment vibration influence to the human body, for the protection of human health, reasonable distribution function between humans and machines, give full play to the role of the people and the function of the crane, to improve the international competitiveness of China’s construction machinery field has extremely important practical significance.The research object of this article is the pillar of portal crane and the bearing type gantry crane which are two of the most common structural form. Taking project belongs to Wuhan Port Machinery Quality Supervision and testing center as the basis, under the working condition of four types of portal crane, bridge measurement of each measuring point vibration acceleration data. Using MATLAB software to deal with original signal data, and then use the human body vibration comfort evaluation standard, evaluate the vibration comfort of the two gantry crane driver. On this basis, further with 1/3 octave analysis principle of two kinds of portal crane fatigue-efficiency analysis, it is concluded that two kinds of portal crane in vibration environment, the driver guarantee maximum hours don’t fatigue driving, to provide the basis for the port managers working time on the driver arrangement. And the two kinds of portal crane seat isolation rate and the vibration characteristic analysis, find wide application in the field of port lifting equipment on the shear type suspension seat on reducing vibration limits, for gantry crane tower design staff provides the reference for the increase of vibration comfort.
