Due to the influence of environmental factors such as waves,wind and ocean currents, all kinds of oscillation will appear inevitably, when ships sailing on the sea. The safety of ship equipment and comfort of crew are badly impacted by severe rolling.Wave-Piercing Catamaran(WPC) is a kind of ship with the wide application range. However, the vertical range of motion of the hull is large when length of sea wave is close to length of ship in the process of sailing in head sea. Nowadays, the most research of the sailing control system of WPC are still in the theoretical stage. The development of practical aspects is very slow. In order to verify the anti-rolling device, experiment is necessary. Therefore it is very necessary to design a new kind of sailing control system of WPC.In order to achieve the requirements of high performance test and the requirements of the data acquisition system, this thesis provides a kind of sailing control system of WPC based on DSP. By comparing the current situation of the study of various high-speed ship development and analysis of theoretical knowledge domestic and abroad, an anti-rolling control system is designed. This plan is based on DSP technology, gyro detection technology, serial communication technology, ethernet port communication technology and analog-digital conversion technology. Anti-rolling control system includes anti-rolling controller and real-time detection PC, of which the research and development of anti-rolling controller is based on the DSP as the core the controller, integrating vessel attitude detection system. And data acquisition system is a real-time monitoring system based on labview, communicating through computer and DSP controller. According to anti-rolling control system required in this thesis, the following research work is:Firstly, the characteristics and properties of the control object should be made sure. At the same time, the structure and working principle of the control system should be described. The actual WPC anti-rolling control system based on DSP needs to be designed. According to control requirements, I chose the suitable vessel attitude detection sensor and design the power circuit of DSP, serial communication technology, ethernet port communication technology, analog-digital conversion technology, and relative program.Through the real physical simulation, that is to say, the actual controller ship and anti-rolling device are installed in a downsized ship model. This model ship made numerous sea trial wave formed in a boat pool. It can prove the design of the control system meets technical analysis indicators and help researchers to observe the movement of waves and the phenomenon of boat and seek inner regularity, to provide technical support for a towing tank test.Through analysis and comparison of the experimental data, the optimal control parameters of DSP controller is derived, which is the key to get more satisfied anti-rolling effect. The actual data provides a theoretical basis for the study of anti-rolling control.
