It is well known that the internal combustion engine is an important equipment in modern society, and it plays an important role in people’s daily lives, with the rapid development of economy and the improvement of people’s living standards, the automotive industry will also be more rapid development. Compared with the gasoline, due to the high dynamics and low fuel consumption, diesel engine is considered to alleviate the issue of shortage of fuel. Despite having the incomparable advantages of the gasoline, the diesel engine exhaust contains large amounts of particulate matter, these particles material have light weight, small size, and suspended in the air for a long time, which can easily be inhaled and dust in the alveolar, which would cause great harm to human health.As countries enhance environmental awareness, the governments have developed a fairly strict emissions regulations, therefore, the study how to reduce diesel exhaust particulate content has become one of the issues we care about well, as a post-processing equipment, the particulate filter is the most effective solution to solve the diesel particulate emissions. Based on the new circular particulate trap studied, the main innovation points and results of this thesis are as follows:(1) To select the regeneration occasion by differential pressure value with both ends of the particulate filter with microwave, the particulate filter regeneration system was established, and the regeneration process of system was analyzed.(2) The particulate filter regeneration model with microwave heating has been established by the microwave heating characteristics, and the model was validated, the results show that the model is rationality and can be used for studying the particulate filter regeneration with microwave.(3) The process of the particulate filter regeneration with microwave was simulated, the change of temperature, the microwave power and the structure of the filter unit on the influence of the microwave heating regeneration were obtained during the regeneration process, and to analyze the causes of these effects.
