With the development of The Times, stable AC power supply is required by more and more precision instruments and modern electronic equipments such as high precision load. But there is power deficiency and serious power equipment aging on supply system of AC power in many areas in China(especially in some remote areas).These problems lead to voltage waveform distortion ?over voltage and under voltage?surge interference. It is easy to cause the precision of electric equipments to drop,working not to be normal, even cause to damage. So it is the precondition of safe operation to ensure the quality of power supply of electrical equipment. In order to solve the above problems,it is necessary to use the ac voltage stabilizer.The characteristics of the traditional ac voltage stabilizer are low precision of voltage regulation?low efficiency?large volume?slow response and high cost. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the above ac voltage stabilizers. A new kind of ac voltage stabilizer is designed to use the thought of the technology of high frequency switch power supply in this paper. Voltage compensation is implemented through PWM controling turn-on and turn-off of switch device IGBT and conduction sequence of four two-way thyristor to implement AC chopper.There are compensation transformer?four IGBTs with the parallel diode?four SCRs and input and output filter consisting of inductance and capacitance in the main circuit.Compensation transformer makes the circuit not have to deal with all the power output, decreaseing the capacity of main circuit components and reduceing the hardware cost. Switching voltage compensation polarity is the concern of SCR. ARM controller STM32F103C8T6 is he master control chip in this project.It acquires input voltage,output voltage, output current through the signal acquisition module. After that it is handled by PID control algorithm to determine the PWM duty cycle and the voltage of the compensation of polarity.Last it controls turn-on and turn-off of switch device IGBT and realizes chop control compensation for voltage regulation through the way of PWM.It implements the real-time plus or minus compensation to the mains voltage fluctuations and achieves the stability output.of the ac voltage stabilizer.The project includes the design of the hardware part and software part.In the hardware part, first it introduces the overall framework of the system,and then designes each module.It consists of power circuit, signal conditioning circuit, communication interface circuit, button control circuitcontrol circuit, liquid crystal display circuit,power compensation circuit etc. In the software part,it adopts the hierarchical and modular design and mainly includs the soft start control task, surveillance task, system fault protection task, signal acquisition and data processing program task, PID algorithm task, starting task and idle task.The prototype of this project is tested in accordance with the relevant national standards by seting up experiment test platform.The results of the tset fully meet the design requirements.The characteristics of ac voltage stabilizer designed in this paper is high precision, high efficiency, fast response speed, non-contact, wide regulating range, small volume etc.
