Submerged regulating valves are used in large-scale water conservancy project because of their excellent performance in pressure and flow control of the pipeline export, however, at this stage we only focused on the study of the fluid energy dissipation in the environment, but for the characteristics of the energy dissipation and fluid dynamics analysis of the vibration and noise of control valve is not enough, so the research on the control valve has important significance. In this paper, combined with the use of submerged regulating valve in one pipeline water diversion project, we had deeply numerical simulation and experimental study of the performance characteristics.The main contents and innovations are as follows:(1) Structure and principle analysis of submerged regulating valve. Combined with one pipeline water diversion project and compared with other types valve, analyzing the structure, working principle, technical characteristics, selection advantage, transfer energy dissipation principle and energy dissipation characteristics of submerged regulating valve through numerical simulation and research test proved its effectiveness and practicality.(2) Flow coefficient analysis and calculations of submerged regulating valve. By analyzing energy dissipation principle and flow coefficient, and comparing the different opening degree calculation flow coefficient and experimental testing flow coefficient, by further comparing the valve flow coefficient which has inlet hole plate or not, and proved the effectiveness of the CFD analysis method.(3) Noise and vibration analysis and research based on fluid dynamics. In this part, starting from fluid dynamics, we gradually got on the vibration response analysis of adjusting flow and energy dissipation valve, building,analyzing and setting LES turbulence model, so can had related noise numerical simulation for submerged regulating valve model. By analysis and research the vibration and noise, we proved the practicality of the model and calculation method.(4)Submerged regulating valve structure finite element analysis and verification. First of all, made a strength finite element analysis and verification to DN250 submerged regulating valve. Then did a stress test assessment on the valve body, verifies the method of the modeling and simulation analysis.In this paper, based on the performance characteristics of the submerged regulation valve, established a set of Calculation analysis method of regulating valve flow coefficient, noise, vibration, and stress-strain. And then we built the experimental model. Comparing the experiments data and the analysis data, we got some valuable conclusions and provided a new direction for the domestic large-scale water conservancy project in regulating valve. This study not only greatly save the cost, but also has profound significance for the development of a new valve, with far-reaching engineering applications prospects.
