In recent years, with the continuous growth of the capacity of power system in China, through increased, especially the extensive use of power cable lines, the capacitance current of power system is increasing, leading to the power grid grounding fault occurs more and more often, not to damage the electric power equipment, but also affect the life of people, electricity production, resulting in serious damage to the safe operation of the system. Therefore, the fault line selection accuracy, reliable, timely find the fault line, is an important way to improve the safe operation of the power system. Therefore, this article in view of small current grounding system single phase to ground fault line selection device design and algorithm research, to improve the reliability of power supply, safety is important.Based on the research of the scholars, separately from the power line distributed capacitance to ground, grounding grid single-phase fault, the arc suppression coil grounding single-phase fault of small current grounding system single-phase grounding fault; and then, put forward the route selection algorithm, focuses on the fundamental zero sequence current ratio of amplitude and phase method, the active component of algorithm; then, analyzes the principle of work, the advantages and short pulse current model of small current grounding line selection; thirdly, discusses the design and implementation of small current grounding system single-phase grounding line selection device, the design and implementation of the hardware, the software from two aspects; finally, the the design of the small current grounding system single phase to ground fault line selection device is verified, validated the results show that: the fault line selection device has the stability, reliability, adaptability strong, once the single-phase grounding fault line selection, can realize fast, provides the convenience for the electric operator, and to ensure the power supply security.
