With the progress of the times and the improvement of human living condition, people's demand of living environment is much higher than before, for what reason that the central air-conditioning system is widely used. While improving human living conditions as well as thermal comfort, the central air-conditioning also consumes lots of energy. The central air-conditioning energy saving technology, which has achieved large numbers of work and remarkable results, is always the research hotspot in the field of architecture. With the development of network technology, network security, real-time and reliability are much more splendid, and the network technology is widely used in the field of control. The central air-conditioning system is an integrated system that contains a variety of equipment. Combining it with the network control technology can make an optimal operating system which is efficient in energy saving. At the same time, the unreasonable operation mode of central air-conditioning system is common due to the lack of appropriate management measures, which results in high energy consumption that cannot be ignored. Using management measures and reducing the defects of unreasonable use of air-conditioning are undoubtedly the effective ways to reduce energy consumption of central air-conditioning. With this understanding, this study expects to apply the network control technology in the central air-conditioning system. It not only takes the operating control system into consideration, but the concept of operation and management. So the energy consumption of central air-conditioning system can be effectively reduced by reasonable system measures of management and control. Meanwhile, the results of the study can be used for the central air-conditioning system, testing results and provide demonstration.This research applies the network control technology to the design and development of the management and operation of central air-conditioning system, and then fits the equipment of central air-conditioning system into the platform for unified management and control. The control functions such as start and stop control of the terminal equipment, the unified set of temperature, the operation time management and the unified set of operation mode are all included. Besides, the household metering function can also be realized. At the same time, the visualization management of the room air-conditioning usage can be realized according to the cooling metering equipment, coordinating of platform system's energy consumption monitoring, data processing, alarm system of breakdown and diagnosis function, which can provide effective management measures for central air-conditioning system. In addition, in view of the traditional fan coil system does not automatically adjust air output to lead to energy waste problem. The research also includes the study of the new model of fan coil with AC stepless speed adjustment, and applies the research results to practical projects, testing the energy saving effect of the system.By analyzing the energy consumption data of air-conditioning after the renovation project, the integration platform of control and management of central air-conditioning can reduce the energy by 17.13%, among which the new model of fan coil with AC stepless speed adjustment makes a energy saving rate of 19.11% in the actual project operation. It can be known that the integration platform of control and management of central air-conditioning which the project studies has considerable economic benefit and ability of energy saving, and it can be applied in other engineering projects.
